Why should the woman need to apologize to the man in such a case? Surely, he should have been worried about being taken up on charges, as he's the lowest ranked officer and has only been a lawyer for one year.

His cockiness seemed less like a professional soldier and more like Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise or his take on Quagmire from "Family Guy"! And, having Cruise and Moore falling in love seemed off-putting and ill-advised considering how cocky he was Now that I've finished the rant, I should point out that the acting and characters apart from this one are great.
